HEAR FROM LUKE
Based on your skills, experience and interests, we think you’d enjoy hearing about Luke’s experiences here. Luke joined after a career in industry and academia, and now heads up our work in Children’s Social Care.
“I was ready for a change – for something fresh and exciting. I definitely got that here. In part because there’s such a fantastic learning culture. I almost felt like a new graduate again, and in a very positive way.”Luke Tregidgo,

LUKE TREGIDGO STREAMLINING A VITAL SUPPORT SERVICE FOR FAMILIES
Luke’s core focus is on driving change in different public sector organisations so they can give children, young people and their families all the support they need to thrive. His work with an Early Help Service is a case in point – it saw more families being supported earlier, reducing escalations to more serious levels of intervention. As part of Newton, the level of impact you can have upon real lives will be huge.

FOCUS ON DELIVERY
Luke relishes the fact that at Newton, he’s not just crunching the numbers. That he’s not just behind a screen coming up with solutions from afar. Instead he combines data analysis with onsite working alongside the client.
QUICKFIRE QUESTIONS
BALANCING WORK AND HOME
For Luke, having a balanced approach to work and home is more important than ever before.
POWERING YOUR PROGRESSION
Luke values the way that Newton seeks out fresh perspectives. We’re firm believers that we can learn as much from each other as we can through more formal programmes.
SUPPORTING CLIENTS SIDE BY SIDE
One of the things we’re most proud about at Newton is the way we see our client programmes through from beginning to end – and beyond. It’s also incredibly fulfilling for our people. They don’t just dip in and out of a programme; they have a long-term involvement in driving change.
EXPERIENCE LIFE ON CLIENT SITE
Spending time with our clients so we can experience their world is central to our philosophy. It’s about getting real insights from the various individuals who make things happen on a daily basis. By understanding the challenges they face, we can get a much better understanding of the challenges faced by the wider organisation.
SHARING EXPERIENCES WITH THE WHOLE COMPANY
Whatever your interests and passions, Newton offers plenty of opportunities for colleagues to work together and make an impact beyond their immediate client projects, whether that’s through knowledge sharing, all-company initiatives or advancing a cause that has a personal significance.
Review days
Our fortnightly review days are a brilliant opportunity not only for our people to connect with each other, but also to share ideas, bring fresh perspectives and collectively tackle the most complex challenges in an open, relaxed environment.
Inclusion and giving back
We have a number of employee resource groups designed to foster a diverse, inclusive working environment. There are also great opportunities to give back through the Newton Foundation – our people have been involved in everything from fundraising efforts for Alzheimer’s to mentoring students from underprivileged backgrounds to supporting programmes to tackle homelessness in the UK.
